The Norman Girvan Blog was free to use and a resource to many, and we wish to continue the legacy of knowledge sharing which was of paramount importance to Norman. To close off the opening of the preface of the book ‘Working Together For Development’, Norman wrote:
‘Hopefully, [this book] will be found to have lessons for us as we seek to respond to the critical issues of social development in the 1990s and beyond.’
The essence of this sentiment still stands true, and we hope this blog will be found to have lessons for us all as we seek to respond to the critical issues of political, social, and economic development for the 2020s and beyond.
